Weird interaction between Shiv Slice and Dice and Paradox Kinetic carbine

Ive noticed that when paradox uses her kinetic carbine on me right as i use slice and dice the ability just doesnt work, usually with other heroes you get slowed down and the ability continues after but with shivs slice and dice it just stops the ability overall. I dont think its intentional and it feels really annoying.
