Hi. I have noticed that since the Monday's update, the game is sometimes wrongly thinking that I need to buy/sell items like the player I'm spectating while dead.
I am attaching a clip where I managed to catch this instance. Mirage was buying (or had queued up for Quickbuy?) Mercurial Magnum, and a similar prompt appeared to me as well (even though I have already had this item). Hence, I was prompted/asked whether I wanted to sell mine.
On a related matter, I also think that, during a moderate window after respawning after respawning, I could sometimes catch a "kill / kill assist" pop-up, which clearly belonged to the last spectated player that was meanwhile killing someone else on the other part of a map.
For what it's worth, I am usually spectating others through a camera that imitates mine (i.e. "first person" and not "follow hero").
