Today I learned about the existence of a case with a built-in weapon.
And I think this is an interesting idea for a weapon for some character.
Originally developed in the 1970s by German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch, the so called "Spezialkoffer" was designed as a discreet self-defense solution for close protection personnel.
Officially known as the "HK MP5K Operational Briefcase," the weapon concealed a fully functional MP5K submachine gun inside a modified hard case, with the trigger mechanism integrated into the handle for rapid deployment.
The briefcase allowed security agents to respond to threats without ever revealing the weapon, offering both concealment and immediate firepower. Though primarily intended for VIP protection during high-risk Cold War-era scenarios, the briefcase gun has since become a symbol of covert operations
