Im not sure if this is a bug any more. They changed how wall jumps work in the patch. Not sure if its broken or they simply made it easier. You could have pressed w + Space for the wall jump -> w hold space for climb.

Again, not sure which one is supposed to be correct any more.

It wasn't S + space that did it. Melee counts towards walljump fatigue (including light melee). It's currently bugged where melee on the ground also does this without properly resetting fatigue, so be careful with that.
