Name: Viviana (Vivi for short), name means "alive" or "full of life"
Role: Offensive Support/Situational Assassin
Race: Ixian
General Appearance Inspiration: Based on demonic imp via being a young Ixian variant.

Personality Concept: Forces herself to be as confident as possible and uses big words incorrectly or mispronounces them in an attempt to come off as more mature and intelligent, misbelieving it will make others respect her more and take her seriously. However, she is genuinely intelligent for her age; it's just not book smarts but instead a quick and adaptable mind.

Lore Brief: When she was much younger, Viviana was found crying alone during her birthday party. Around her lay the massacred remains of her friends and family. The police noted the murders seemed extremely gruesome, as if a wild, feral animal had been let loose. The only survivor was Vivi herself, whose memories of the events were blurry and incomplete, which most attribute to traumatic repression. Vivi told investigators she survived by running and hiding in blind panic and that all she remembers clearly was catching a glimpse of their attacker in a mirror from her hiding spot; a giant, clawed beast seemingly made of churning liquid shadows with six elongated violet eyes, and recalls its mouth and oversized claws were drenched in blood.

Now older and in foster care, Vivi has been struggling with survivor's guilt and has vowed to find the 'Six-eyed Beast' so that it can be brought to justice and her family avenged. She has been doing odd jobs and using the money to pay for Abrams' help, who takes the meagre payments out of pity. He investigates the massacre little by little over the years while letting her help with his work and teaching her how to be a detective under the guise of it helping her hunt, but it's really just to redirect her troubled mind. One day, Abrams tells her he made a huge breakthrough in the case, surprising even himself, and says he might have answers for her soon.

Vivi gets her hopes up, but after he returns from a long absence, Abrams tells her he found nothing and that he's dropping the case before burning all the information he had collected over the years in front of her. He then tells Vivi there's nothing to be done and to stop coming to his office because he won't work on her case anymore. She demands to know why, and when Abrams refuses to tell her, Vivi leaves in fury after telling Abrams she will never forgive him and decides to find answers on her own.

After hearing about the Ritual, Vivi joins the battle between Patrons with the hope of using her Wish to finally bring the Six-eyed Beast to justice and avenge her family.

Notable Interactions: The Doorman tells her most people's lives are a line, but hers has somehow been made into a circle that will never stop spinning, trapping her loved ones within with no chance of escape. Vivi still hates Abrams, which he silently endures. Talon and Shiv apologize for not having any new information (Talon also sympathizes with her hunt and desire for revenge) and both remind her to call on them if she ever does find the Six-eyed Beast. Rumours also suggest the Troubadour is actively looking for the Six-eyed Beast.

Weapon: A magical bracelet studded with amethysts that was gifted to her by her parents on the same day they died. Primary fire acts as a close-ranged SMG that shoots tiny crystal shards in a circular pattern around her wrist and along the bracelet. Reloads by the amethysts sucking in violet energy. Alt-fire zooms in a little while charging up to create a large shard with slightly less projectile speed. This alt fire has more damage that stays consistent, but falloff and projectile travel range scale with how much of her mag she uses to charge it, with larger mag size letting her charge it further.

Ability 1 - Gain Insight/Deduce

Vivi uses what Abrams taught her to observe others, permanently marking a hero she has sight of within a large distance until she removes it with alt cast, after which she can choose to mark someone else instead once a cooldown expires. The hero will know they are marked and anyone can see how many stacks she has, which will also include the marked hero's name for clarity. Once a hero is marked, the ability Gain Insight changes to Deduce and Vivi gains a stack of Insight whenever the hero is dealt damage by her, deals damage to her, or uses abilities within a certain range of her. This range can be increased by range increase effects.

These "Insight stacks" passively make her damage ignore a percentage of the marked hero's spirit and bullet resist and give her a small movement speed bonus while they're in the same range in which she can gain stacks. These bonuses scale with the number of Insight stacks, but she loses half each time she dies and loses all of them when she removes her mark if she wants to choose another hero. By activating "Deduce", she can give two nearby allies double her current bonus for a brief duration, but loses her own bonuses for that and the cooldown's duration.

Levels in this ability will increase the cap of stacks and the range in which she can gain them.

Ability 2 - Maledictus Luck
This ability has charges. It is also a passive.

The same stroke of luck that saved Vivi from the Six-eyed beast seems to still be sticking around. Whenever Vivi is the target of any form of crowd control except sleep, the source of the CC takes damage (scales with spirit) and is afflicted with the CC instead. When activated, the ability lingers for a very brief period (maybe ~.5 seconds?), so it can reflect multiple CC if the timing is right.

Vivi can only ever use one charge for herself and that charge is reserved exclusively for her. However, if she has extra charges, they charge slowly, and once full, will automatically give the first ally that gets close to her (very small radius) a copy of the Maledictus Luck buff that lasts for a moderate time (~30 seconds, long enough to try and plan around but not long enough to lazily sit on).

Each upgrade does something different and this list is unordered: One additional charge and increased damage, increase buff time on allies, give her a small bullet and spirit resist boost when her personal Maledictus Luck buff activates.

Ablity 3 - Incognito

Vivi gains fairly long-lasting invisibility with a very small reveal radius, and her footsteps become silent, but only to the hero marked by her Gain Insight ability (all other enemy heroes can see her). Attacking or using abilities brings her out of stealth as usual, but Vivi gains a bonus amount of Insight stacks if she attacks her marked hero within a brief window. Charging her alt fire will not take her out of invisibility until she fires.

Upgrades reduce cooldown, slightly increases amount of bonus insight stack gain, and final upgrade lets her share the invisibility with one other ally (maybe 2?). This ally is still only invisible to the marked enemy hero.

Ability 4/Ultimate: Blooming Soulblight

Vivi's ult must charge up over time, and passively charges faster the more Insight stacks she has. Her marked hero also increases the charge amount a little under the same conditions she gains Insight. She can activate the ability herself once full, but if she doesn't , the ability will continue to overcharge up to a max. The more the ability overcharges, the more likely the ability is to activate on its own whenever she deals damage to heroes or receives damage from heroes.

Once activated, Vivi becomes untargetable during a brief animation that serves as both a windup and warning to other players. She clutches her head, weeps black sludge, and then transforms into the Six-eyed Beast.

While the Six-Eyed Beast, Vivi can attack and be attacked by all heroes, allies and foes alike, and they become indistinct silhouettes to her. Accidentally killing allies like this gives assist credit to enemies as normal but nothing to her.

While transformed, her normal fire is a melee attack with her claws that can't be parried while her alt fire is a charging pounce that increases damage and distance the longer it's charged, and also can't be parried. Her regular melee and charged melee attacks are just duplicates of these while in this form.

Her abilities also transform into passive 'selfish' variants of what they were before:

Deduce:
Permanently applied while in this form, letting her move faster and ignore the resists of her marked hero. She also gains the doubled bonuses she would normally give her allies. Finally, her marked hero has a slightly (preferably subtle?) different look than the other heroes, giving her a way to at least distinguish one player as a guaranteed enemy.

Maledictus Luck:
Same ability, but she uses all charges herself after a brief cooldown between each, so to CC her you will have to go through however many charges of the ability she has.

Incognito:
When out of combat, Vivi becomes invisible to all players (friends and foes alike) and gains a ramping movement speed buff, however other players will hear Vivi's distorted voice growling and huffing when she's nearby, and it will become louder the closer she is.

Upgrade levels in the ability will decrease her chance of being forced into transforming into the Six-eyed Beast per amount of overcharge, and each level will add one of her other abilities once transformed, so in other words she only gains the transformed versions of her usual abilities one at a time with each upgrade.

I'm not sure how they would be chosen, maybe highest points first or even just at random, though ideally there would be a way to choose a specific ability to add to her transformed form with each upgrade of the ultimate.

Oops, some clarifications since I can't edit anymore:

By out of combat for transformed Incognito, I meant when there is no one near her, either right before combat or while chasing a fleeing target.

And obviously, the transformation doesn't last forever, if she's not killed it'll eventually expire and has to be charged up again, but she can't cancel it herself. While transformed, she also gains increased resists, health, and bonus melee damage.

The idea is to balance the killing potential of this form (especially against her initial position as a support) with its limited range and the fact that she could easily hurt allies in the confusion, especially if the transformation was forced. Allies can also hurt/CC her too, of course, which should help balance it out as well.
