Ricochet is supposed to do %65 of the damage dealt including all on hit effects. Yet when I use ult on Venator, it only does around %30~ of the damage.

This is %30~ even if i headshot or bodyshot.

Something feels off but I can't tell if it doesn't apply the "bonus damage" from ultimate ability or the damage from the conditional items to the ricochet projectile. Needs more intensive testing it seems with better debugging tools.

It also doesn't execute with the ricochet bullet. The ricocheted bullet doesn't function as ultimate ability projectile, more like a gun bullet projectile. (idk if it is intended)

Please hire me Valve so I can make something of my gaming addiction and game designer diploma, thanks.

Ira Domini functions like a damage rider and isn't an On-Hit effect. On Hit effects (such as Toxic Bullets) are transferred with Ricochet, but damage riders (such as Mystic Burst) are not. Additionally, damage riders cannot trigger other damage riders.

This is most certainly a case of a mix of bad tooltips and a weird character. The only character that functions similarly is Vindicta, who has ult charges instead of swapping weapons outright.

Calling it a damage rider sounds like naming a bug feature lol but I understand.

Any character specific and unique thing such as Abrams reload tends to interact oddly with some items. Crushing fist reload breaks Abrams's reload and puts it into a 3 second cooldown (unless they fixed it lately).

Ira Domini also acts like a gun and a reload but it causes these problems. You gotta iron out the wrinkles one way or another :)

Damage rider's are real; the damage from mystic burst and mystic reverb are damage rider's in that they are separate instances of damage. This doesn't matter for most characters except Vindicta, whose ult must do the final damage.

But it's just one of those weird interactions. The bug is most certainly because he's literally swapping weapons. And it looks like they acknowledged it's a bug and it will be fixed.
