It seems as though you can parry most ultimates and abilities by reacting to sound cues or specific movements the opponent makes. However with Doorman's ultimate it comes with some kind of jank.
At least with an obvious Mo who's trying to grab you, he can be punished with Counterspell. Doorman however can simply run straight towards you without receiving any punishment from the Counterspell.
What's the point of having an item description that says "Your next parry protects you from the damage and effects of enemy abilities and items." if it's going to be so selective in how it works?
In this video the damage from the ultimate is parried, yet you're still teleported and cannot escape at all.
