Upgrading Seven Ult during channel does not extend damage time but extends floating time

The title may be a bad explanation so I've included a video. Upgrading the ultimate during it's channel time will keep you floating and extend it's duration, but the damage aura stops. Looks really goofy too.View attachment Deadlock - 2026-03-06 7-05-28 PM.mp4
