Yeah I am experiencing this as well. I'll check high and low. The map seems to be honest that something exists there. Sometimes there's no minimap icon and this light beam just exists. Several of people's abilities also seem to be stuck existing as well, usually those that make a ring on the ground long after they should have dispersed. Seems more likely after long fights to be concentrated there.
