I received a ban because the game crashed during matchmaking. I was waiting in matchmaking for approximately 20 minutes when the game crashed while connecting. I had to restart my computer and verify the integrity of the game files just to be able to launch the game again.
After doing that, I was notified that my session was still in progress, even though I had not actually started the match. I then rejoined an ongoing game where the score was already 2–0 against us. We continued playing and eventually won the match 3–2.
After going through all of this, I received a ban.
