Unable to Rejoin Match

I had the permanent pressing tab bug, which made the game basically unplayable. Tried to leave and rejoin the match. Did not work. Tried restarting the game, and get hit with an update. Which yes obviously is the reason for not being able to rejoin.

Hope that the game can be changed so the players client does not get hit with an update, while the player is in an active match. Trying to restart the game to make a bug go away, should not be the reason for a ban.
