theres another bug that occurs where it says your game files are corrupted and when this occurs you cannot verify the integrity of game files
the solution i found is to reinstall however when this bug occurs you are only able to put the game on a hard drive instead of an ssd
three people in my discord got this error, each right when starting the game. the corrupted file message occurs then they have to reinstall and they only have an ssd so they are sol. i have a hard drive so i can at least put it on my hard drive until it sorts itself out.
