Unable to get in same lane as party member (Dynamo or Ivy edition)

Since the latest patch, I'm unable to get assigned the same lane as my party members. I play Dynamo or Ivy. Whenever I choose either, I am always placed in a duo lane, but my party member is always placed either solo or in a different duo lane. My party and I are of similar skill level.

It's just the 2 of us queueing. Please let us lane together :C

Following up here as a I was about to post about it myself. Felt like a couple patches ago, me and the friend I'd queue in with were always in the same lane. Now it feels like I'm always asking someone to switch, which, depending on how responsive they are, can really change the first few minutes of the game.

Same here. It feels like your party doesn't matter anymore, and that the game is turning into a solo game. Really demotivating
