Unable to chat or exit menus with escape after unfocusing and refocusing Deadlock window in Borderless Windowed (reproduceable)

I have my game running in borderless windowed mode. When unfocusing Deadlock by pressing the windows key if I refocus the window by left clicking onto Deadlock I am unable to exit windows by pressing escape, and unable to chat by pressing enter. I have to left click to exit menus and left click to exit the chat window in game, and chats do not send. If I unfocus Deadlock by pressing the window key and then refocus by hitting windows key again everything works as intended
