I've always found the motivation of the characters in Deadlock (the Patron's Wish) a genius way to bring together all these wild characters in one place. That said, I've always thought it would be interesting if there were more of a hint on how those characters' motivations resolve after the ritual.
For those of you who have played the Risk of Rain games, one of my favorite little tidbits was the unique ending message for each character, showing how the events of the game changed them. Although these were short, they always lent so much more to the lore and world of the game.

I think little sentences like these regarding the MVP's character on the matches recap screen would be really cool.
IE, The MVP of the lobby was a Bebop, so on the MVP screen, maybe the Patron's quote regarding Bebop's wish would be shown. I tried to mock up what this might look like below:

(As far as I know in lore, every individual on the winning team receives a wish, but I think putting it on the MVP screen makes the most sense and is easiest to do.)
I think there's a lot of potential for further character depth through this mechanic, and with how varied the characters' motivations are, the quotes would span from not really granting anything to making a psychopath a god.
