Torment pulse (held by Celeste) ticked for 427 damage. (Can't tell why.)

At the very end of this clip, Torment Pulse zaps Lash and apparently (per the purple damage number, the increase to the accumulating white damage number, and the fact that Lash dies) does 427 damage. Lash at the time only has Celeste's Light Eater debuff on him, and Celeste recently hit him with Radiant Daggers but hasn't received the delayed buff yet. Also Lash has 10% spirit resist and Celeste's build does not give Torment Pulse any enormous amount of damage.

Also I fire my gun at the very end of the clip but I'm pretty sure he's dead (to the Torment Pulse zap) before the bullet reaches him.

I don't have any real theory for why this happened, but it's several hundred extra damage out of nowhere so I felt like I should report it.

Lash took extra damage from the Celeste because jump pads do damage to a player if they get hit within the first second of jump pad use

oooohhhhhh ok yeah good catch, so he died on like frame 1 of trying to use the jump pad.
