Heres my take on a money centric hero such as bounty hunter or alchemist.
The Haggler is a mercenary for hire who is participating in the ritual in order to pay off a monumental debt he has inherited from his late father. Due to this, he is no stranger to having less than nothing to his and his family's names.
His main gimmick is that he is able to purchase items without having the sufficient funds available. doing so will put him into debt. While in debt, He is able to earn extra souls through various means, such as landing abilities, headshots etc. If he is not in debt however, his abilities are empowered, making it a choice between economy vs teamfight potential.
Of course the Haggler would not be able to just buy full slots and go into massive debt. There would be a limit, such as maybe requiring a percentage of the items value in souls available, such as half or three quarters.
I do not know of a single example in a moba of a character who works like this (inb4 theres a HoN character who works similarly to this)
