The Doorman - Aim reticle disappearing during matches

The aim reticle of The Doorman disappears during gameplay and doesn't comeback (even in the hideout) until the aim settings are updated again. I still haven't figured out what triggers it

in my experience it happens after respawning, specifically when you die while channeling an active ability or ult which removes the little keyhole crosshair

same issue here. can't get it to show up at all, even after fiddling with settings
