Texture rendering problem on weak PC

Same on my GTX 660.

The console is an unending stream of this even on the main menu:
[Assert] C:\buildworker\citadel_rel_win64\build\src\rendersystem\dx\rendercontextdx11_software.cpp (1460) : AssertMsg Failed in function CRenderContextDx11_SoftwareCommandLists::DispatchComputeShader():
Trying to dispatch compute shader without binding one first!

Switching to Vulkan and using mat_fullbright_1 makes things look normal but reduces the FPS into a slideshow.

Can confirm it is happening on GTX 760 with similar specs as OP. Likely will be fixed later (but hopefully soon) as this is an alpha build of the game on the Source 2 engine.

Experiencing the same problem on my 660. If the game isn't supported then I'm SOL for now (which is fine) but the graphics look doable and the gameplay runs fine for me. Or rather, it did yesterday. As of this morning the game seems to crash randomly instead of running stable

UPDATE: it seems like the zipline specifically is what's causing my game to crash right now. Otherwise it's completely functional just with borked graphics.

My friend has the same error on the game with a GeForce GT 710, and the following error is in the console.
[Assert] C:\buildworker\citadel_rel_win64\build\src\rendersystem\dx\rendercontextdx11_software.cpp (1460) : AssertMsg Failed in function CRenderContextDx11_SoftwareCommandLists::DispatchComputeShader():Trying to dispatch compute shader without binding one first!
