Temporary Ban for no reason

I have received a temp ban for several hours when I have played a match through completion in Street Brawl. I have not disconnected for a single moment nor did I speak in text chat. Match began with a red warning sign to disconnect in the top corner. My pc takes long to join and leave matches but never before has it booted me up to a match in this state.

Ive had a similar problem, except Ive left immiedietaly after seeing the red leaving sign, assuming its somebody else having left (not thinking much about it, I just wanted to go next as I was short oon time and got a character i didnt wanna play anyway) I qued up again and got into a match after, only realizing I got banned later after a break. I think the Red sign came from me loading in slow aswell, Ive got the game installed on an HDD and i sometimes it loads real slow

same here, joined a game queue and it took too long so i tried to unqueue but it wouldn't work so I restarted the game and got a six hr ban, i wanna play maaannn

I too have had this issue and keep getting match bans. They gotta fix this dude.

Just now got a 6 hour ban after matchmaking canceled while loading, last i played was over 10 hours ago so i don't even know why i was banned

Just want to say I've had the same problem for the past couple of days. My PC does usually take about 30-50 sec to join into a match, and for the past couple of days some matches will have the red disconnect box in the top. After this game I will be banned for a couple of hours, but I cannot think of any reason this would be. I don't use chat hardly ever, and if so I'm sure to not be toxic or anything. I have never used mods, and I don't grief or anything that I would even remotely consider uncool. Really frustrating bug, hope that it doesn't ruin the matchmaking on my account, I'll look around to see if I can submit an error log or something.

my initial ban cleared up and i played one match yesterday, queued up today, match seemed like it was loading up like normal, then i was back in the lobby with a ban for abandoning said match, EVEN THOUGH THE GAME BOOTED ME FROM A MATCH I DIDN'T GET TO JOIN. this is a game breaking ux issue devs NEED to fix.

Thanks to everyone commented. Sadly I think this is just a problem with my own pc. I ended up clearing up space and transferring Deadlock to another drive which is faster and I have had no issues. I believe since this latest patch (Old Gods) they have reduced the window for joining a match before a timeout and me joining late caused a false positive for a dc. I sadly have no other findings but I hope it works for at least some of you. For what its worth my ban was revoked at the end too.

same there, I was banned while queuing for a match due to repeated game crashes. The game kept crashing to desktop, and at times an error message appeared stating that the file “pak01_023.vpk” was missing. it makes me cannot join the game again.
deadlock team didnt review it, just letting us keep being ban. so sad......

This is a very reasonable concern on ur part but I personally thinks this is a fault of the ban system itself , u shouldnt get a 6 hour ban for not loading into a game, In fact, I dont think u should get that long of a ban for "leaving" a game at that stage of game developmnet, considering how unstable the game sometimes is and just how many people crash. those punishments are waay to harsh for modes that arent even proper ranked ladders, not even mentioning the fact that the game is still in closed beta testing
