Anchor

+75 bonus health
+6 spirit power
+10% debuff resistance

active - 30s cooldown/8s duration
prevents the next ability that would displace your hero
-1 stamina penalty
---

intended as a much needed counter to bebop hook, lash ult, paradox ult, ect.

it's different from unstoppable since it only prevents a single ability and it has to be a displace not just a stun, dynamo ult/krill ult/other hard cc should not trigger it

honestly just make the active a passive, make Anchor build out of Reactive barrier, and add the stats for reactive barrier to Anchor and this is a pretty solid idea.
I don't think it's balanced to just be completely immune to displace abilities, if it were a passive maybe give it a long cooldown and some sort of other penalty for getting hit? like if you get hit by bebop hook you get stunned in place rather than being grabbed.. since his hook has a ~7s cooldown (wtf valve) it wouldn't even be a super hard counter just a little less bullshit to play against.

yeah, fair.

mayhaps this could be like an active that has a "recall position" effect. Like "go back to this position after 3 seconds" So it's a counter to a lot of hard CC in the game, but has *some* counterplay and interesting potential for multiple kinds of active choices for play potential.

it's literally a superior item against lash, while also being incredibly good for far more than 2 abilities.
against lash maybe, but against bebop or paradox not so much, plus anchor wouldn't prevent you from taking actions like eth shift does so it would be far superior in certain situations

The thing is, Ethreal Shift has more purposes (stalling for time, dodging stuns like Infernus Ult or Abrams Ult, getting spirit power after emerging from it). Both Anchor and ES are used on reaction. While Anchor means you don't have to be immobilised for a moment, it's very situational since it only really applies to Abrams charge, Lash ult, Paradox ult, Viscous puddle punch and Bebops hook. For the price, you might as well save up for Unstoppable to deal with these things.
