You have the general idea of it. It creates hard cover (I imagine a literal giant angel's wing, shaped using vector casting) that can be shot to create holes in it. It doesn't take too much damage to blow the whole thing away, but let's also say that it has a minimum lifetime, like McGinnis turrets. Momentum reset while also creating cover is the immediate purpose, but a temporary shooting platform high in the air could be a secondary purpose. But you also say, that it creates kind of smoke.
Please try to rephrase or explain it in more detail. It's easy to get confused.
At least I can say, that items that create physical objects, whether it's an obstacle, cover, building and etc. can be an interesting idea.

I am somewhat fixated on terrain elements that can be destroyed, in this case, partially imitating CS2 smokes! I play a lot of Depth, and Rainbow 6 Siege which both have fantastic environment systems. Thanks, I think it has a lot of potential too! Especially if the HP/Spirit scaling is written by an actual dev so the numbers make sense.So now I understand.
Actually a good idea. But I think that hole mechanic is needless. The cover is already have pretty much low HP. Resists on it would be useful in small fights, but in teamfights the cover would be whooshed easily by enemy team.
I see really vast potential in this item.
