A silly active item that punishes ganks and turns them into openings for the other team to jump on. Can be cast onto allies who are getting mobbed and are too far to be saved. Short active duration, long CD, and it being an active item instead of a passive so it doesn't get abused in team fights.
There would be a short wind-up before it activates upon casting (0.5s) so it can't immediately be popped right before death. There would also be a visual indicator for when its active so the enemy team can react accordingly (like a dynamite cord on top of the user/ally's head), which may give them pause and give the user/ally a chance to escape. I also imagine it would also only activate upon lethal damage, i.e. same conditions as Cheat Death.
The shrapnel itself would be random chunks of bone and wood that are roughly the same size as Rem. They would spawn at the point of where the player died and launch at random directions with a low arc, and as far as the stun radius. They don't bounce off floors, but they would bounce off walls until they hit the ground. They're also heavy in terms of physics so they won't ping-pong around an enclosed space. Their damage also scales with the caster's max HP.
It's situational, but I find it will help those who are behind and will add to the mind games when used in fights, especially ganks.
