A use item that spawns a small spirit crow similar to spirit pigeon you find in the hideout. It flies around in a circle and when an enemy walks into the affected range it lets out a loud CAW, pings the enemies in its range for a few seconds, then disappears. Enemies can shoot the spirit crow to remove it if they spot the crow before stepping into range of it. If shot the crow will alert the caster and release a quieter caw noise but it won't reveal the enemies on the map.
T3 version would fly faster, take extra shots to shoot, and be able to detect/reveal invisible enemies. When triggered it would go into a active state which it consistently caw's out and reveals enemies in its range. Enemies leaving the affected area remain revealed on the mini map for 4-6 seconds. The active state could last 10-15 seconds.
In both cases the spirit crow does not go on cooldown until the spirit crow is recalled (activate the item when the spirit crow is deployed to recall it) or its destroyed. When deployed the spirit crow will monitor an area until its recalled, destroyed, activated, or if the item is sold. I'd say the cooldown would prolly work best if it was decently high, 90 seconds mayhaps with the cooldown being halved if the owner recalls the spirit crow on their own.
With how easy it is now for hero's like Doorman to slip several enemies into the backlines as well as items like Backstab making it harder to get audio cues of people sneaking around something like this would be very useful. I'd probably add some passive buffs (maybe a sprint speed bonus to the T2 and a movement speed bonus when the trap is activated or something) though I wouldn't make it too crazy as this should be a situational item that you'd really only want one or two players having. Just need something to make up the value of losing a active item slot to it!
