Sydney / Sabre: Deadlock's resident hockey player

Infernal Resilience wants to sue Spittin Chiclets but this seems an otherwise tongue-in-cheek-ly legit Tusk: Taking Legion Commander's ult is on. Feels short a snow-summoning spell though... Are 'slippery' ice fields ever happening?

I was thinking when you cast the ult and start the fistfight, a little ice rink would spawn for you two to fight in but that seemed too outlandish lol.

SuperDuper Cool Hero Idea!!!!
Here is my idea about how he can move in an interesting and unique way:
The Hero moves with a lot less friction to the ground and they naturally just glide in the last headed direction, they have higher sprint and top speed but accelerate slightly slower than regular heroes with shoes (because they are wearing ice skates)
you can kill your momentum by holding the key opposite direction of the one you're heading
you can also preserve momentum by doing circular strafing patterns (w d s a w d s a(clockwise) and w a s d w a s d(counter-clockwise) (y) (y) (y) 🏒

sounds gnarly i'm in

How's this?

Canadian Monster girl. And here’s your twist: sweet Polly Oliver story

Now this character….. I’m thinking along the lines of…. This scene from Mulan. Another type of girl failure but she comes out of it at the end.

We tie her in to the academy, she's on scholarship she’s from Montreal. She is painfully shy and anxious about her cover and has to act confident

Heroine gets into a near fatal car accident with her brother, a renowned but not well discovered jocky hockey player. The sister is reported to have died in the car accident and her brother lives. Is actually our heroine. She gets plastic surgery to look like her brother and get new tusks/antlers/Canadian shit

Finally! A Hockey-type hero who is also an enforcer! I love this idea. For your 1 (Slapshot) since its a charges-ability, what if upon hitting the same target three times some mark called like "Hat Trick" procs, and it can apply a slow, brief freeze or like extra damage? I think that can help with the WIP part of it.

If I understand correctly, if the opponent wins they will get the buffs instead of Sydney, right?

4: Mosh Pit:

-Welcome to the Mosh Pit.

-An arena is formed.
  • Punkgoat’s movement abilities/items are silenced and can only melee in the Pit.
  • Can only use Can Crushing Cranium. Punkgoat can use changed abilities after three can crushes, but is still limited to using only once.
  • Punkgoat, and enemies and teammates in it become trapped, but the arena can be jumped out of, or slid out of. Punkgoat, however, has a duty to the Pit.
  • Enemies hit by a heavy melee or abilitiy are shoved backwards.
  • If an enemy collides with the edge of the mosh pit, the terrain or other enemy heroes/troopers, they will bounce back instead of being stunned
  • Troopers are also affected.
  • Everybody just bounces off each other
  • Allies are immune.
  • Everyone can parry.
  • Duration scales with Spirit power. The more spirit Punkgoat has, the longer he can rock out.
-If anyone slides across on top of the Mosh Pit, they will crowdsurf.

-If Can-Crushing Cranium buff duration ends during Most Pit, heaven forbid, Punkgoat also receives the damage they dealt during the Pit.

So, like, the main idea would be that when Sydney uses Ult, anything that he bumps into will get shoved, and then anyone they hit also gets shoved. I think it would really add to the Donnybrook theme of it.

This is fantastic! I hope to see more iterations and the final version you have in mind!
