Surge of Power activates on Celeste's ult after it charges instead of after it is thrown.

I discovered this in Explore NYC mode. If you hold celeste's ult, Surge of Power won't wait to activate once you've thrown the orb of light. On one hand, you can enjoy the move speed. On the other, the fire rate and firing move speed are squandered.
