I have a consistent issue in street brawl late game. I open my items list to decide what to sell first and select something, then return to the revolver cylinder screen to pick my item. The items disappear, and the graphic remains on my screen, blocking my vision and preventing me from choosing a new item. Very frustrating, but some random button mashing eventually cleared it up for me, namely using Esc to back out and return.
