Street Brawl Ranked?

I was originally Archon 1 but after a match of street brawl I went up one tier. I was under the impression it doesn't effect your rank since you know its kinda random.

Not sure if that was the intent or not to maybe gather data for the new players.

no, the last match was two days ago and I had a rank up. since then I only played street brawl.

the drifer game I ranked up to Archon 1 then the most recent McGinnis game I ranked up to Archon 2 from street brawl.

I had steam replay on so I will get a vid of the rank up after
