Street Brawl Item Doesn't Replace Properly

When on the fifth round in street brawl, replacing an item that builds out of a component doesn't get rid of it to replace the item with the new item, it just downgrades the item and forces you to press skip to clear your screen. This makes you play with an inferior item (EX: Trying to replace enduring speed with spell slinger will instead turn enduring speed into sprint boots and then leave you with an empty item selection, forcing you to press skip and play with sprint boots)

Yeah I got the same issue, I got Seraphim Wings and sold my Headhunter it became Headshot Booster and it decided not to give me the item, and left my screen empty and i forced to skip.

Yes, I have video proof of this. Just adding to the discussion. Hope this gets looked at soon since I was robbed of my favorite one

It seems to affect items that build off of another (ie Headhunter, Escalating Resilience, etc)

yep, it downgrades instead of replacing so you end up losing the item you wanted and the upgraded version of the item you had :_(

I'll help bump this up as this happened to me in Match 56064779. Round 5, I tried to replace my Escalating Resilence with a tier 4 weapon item, instead it got rid of that but kept Extended Magazine, and was then locked out of that item.

second clip attached also removed my active item slot altogether!

this is still happening, the new item replacement UI screen is super cool, and I thought this bug would be fixed with it, but nope, selling an upgraded item in that screen doesn't completely remove it but downgrades it, bugging the slot and both items

Bumping again, took celestial blessing and got rid of rescue beam which downgraded it to healing rite
