Street Brawl Guardian can be healed by skills for some reason

Timestamp: At around 9:19 of the replay, or around 4:34 of Round 2, when Archmother team is pushing up against Hidden King team's first guardian.

As the guardian is about to die, Paige throws an ult that somehow noticeably heals it by a significant amount. With some quick testing, I was unable to replicate this effect in Sandbox mode or Explore NYC mode. I have not been able to test it while the guardian is under attack by troopers though, so perhaps that's a potential factor I'm missing.

I'm assuming this is something unique to Street Brawl's Guardian code, since the first guardian seems to have less health than the standard ones.

Far as I can remember too, there isn't supposed to be anything that should be capable of healing objectives (items or skills). I don't think I've read a patch note for Street Brawl that made this change either. This is the first time I've seen an objective be healed to begin with.

I have this match recorded on a stream if ever the match is unable to be downloaded afterwards.

EDIT: Friend says they witnessed something similar as far back as Venator release in a Street Brawl match too. So I'm unsure if it is intended or not. He says it might've been Healing Nova that healed it in that match. I can only confirm for the meantime that Paige ult does do this in Street Brawl.

It did heal the guardian, but barely. From what I saw, it didn't heal it enough to stop your team from taking it out. It's possible that on your screen in the moment, the UI glitched out and maybe showed a massive heal that didn't actually happen.

Wouldn't surprise me if the stream and replay don't show the same thing. Paige ult can health objectives though, just usually nowhere near enough to make it a problem nor actually be useful of a tech. You could retest this in street brawl with bots, just remove all bots after it starts and then test it out or just enable cheats (by starting it as a custom match) and then enable godmode and ignore the bots and test this out with paige.

It's not that huge of a heal, yeah. Sorry, what I meant was that it was big and significant enough to be a noticeable event for me to actually see it as it happens as it did delay it for a few more seconds when it was about to die otherwise.

The replay and the stream do show the same thing mainly because that was the first thing I reacted to when it happened as I've never seen it occur before (perhaps it has happened without me noticing it before though). If it's on the replay, it's basically what I saw.

The point of the report isn't the fact that it made a difference or that it's potentially useful tech, but that it happens to begin with. This isn't normal behavior outside of street brawl(?) since it's been understood that there's nothing that can heal objectives to begin with besides their natural regen.

This also brings up the concern that there COULD be a more abuseable skill that we haven't seen yet that does interact with objectives in street brawl. Considering that this is probably an unchecked flag that was overlooked on either the SB guardians or Paige's ult that allows it to receive or give said healing, there's possibly another skill out there with the same oversight for these SB guardians. It's just that it hasn't been abused yet as people don't even know they could build for it to abuse it to begin with.

I could be wrong about it being not normal but I don't think I've read anywhere that mentions this is how it SHOULD work specifically on street brawl either and, as mentioned, it doesn't work the same on normal matches (which is why the interaction caught my eye immediately).

I've also done a bit more testing and confirmed the following:

1.) Paige ult heals Stage 1 and 2 street brawl guardians.
2.) Healing Nova DOES NOT heal any street brawl objectives.
3.) For some reason, Paige ult doesn't seem to heal street brawl walkers.

4.) Dynamo 3 doesn't heal any street brawl objectives either. I have not tested anyone else as it takes a bit to set up alone.

It's due to the fact that there's no discernable reason as to why it doesn't heal walkers is what leads me to believe that it's unintended to begin with as she's the only one that's able to heal guardians in some way.

I've also done a custom game on normal mode to double check if it interacts with those guardians. I can confirm that Paige ult DOESN'T heal them there as expected.
