Strange interaction/ bug with Silver's ulti 3

I encountered this strange interaction with Silver's ulti 3. I was using it to get out of the way from enemy attacks, and suddenly I was floating on the ground for a few seconds before dying. I'm unsure if this is with the network connection lagging causing this to occur, or a genuine bug that occurs after using ulti 3.
