Steam critical error

Game crashed and steam said it got a critical error, could not restart game after restarting steam. Could start and rejoin game after a computer restart.
Other players unaffected.

No actual errors in event log, only some windows error reporting logs from event "LiveKernelEvent".

The question may sound strange, but this issue has already been discussed on this forum. I can't find the thread, but I remember for sure that the fact was that the user had an undervolted graphics card.
Perhaps the graphics card is accelerated by hardware and software?

Thanks for the reply! It's not a constant issue, only happened once in 10 games. I also have not messed with any sort of bios / oc settings.
