While waiting for a game to be found I clicked to spectate a match. While loading into spectated match my client reported it found a game. I didn't expect to still connect to the spectated game but I was connected to the spectated game still. I waited about ten seconds before dcing from the spectated game to see if I can join the found match -- I could not. I queued into matchmaking again but decided to restart my client to see if a ban was applied -- upon restarting I was informed I had been banned for 30 minutes from queuing.
Reproduction:
1: Queue into mm
2: Click to spectate a game
3: While loading into the spectated game, mm finds a match
I'm not sure how replicable this bug is, but I've seen numerous reports of similar bugs related to spectating games and mm failing to enter the player into their mm games. Usually these bugs seem to result in the player not being given the option to enter the mm game and the mm treating the player as an abandoner.
