Souls issue (meeling them)

After some of the recent changes, it is no longer possible to melee souls coming out (especially easy to notice on kills be it your own or trying to deny the one from your teammates death, doesnt matter if u jump how fast u swing and so on)

i thought it was just me, but I also have not been able to melee souls any more.

I also struggle just to confirm them in general playing as Calico after the changes. You literally cant aim at them or you miss, I usually aim above the soul. Something to do with the speed of the soul rising and the diamond shape of the guns spread.
