i've been watching more 'pro' games recently and listening to their commentary, here are some ideas for support items i've picked up by paying attention to the info they pay attention to, what they care about, and where they position themselves:
- Urn Curse: slow the urns movement speed back to its place of origin; delay the other team's ability to pick it up
- Urn Ping: before the urn is picked up OR dropped off, all enemies within a certain distance are revealed to you so you can tell who is close enough to fight/contest
- Urn Veil: hide your location while carrying the urn temporarily
- split decision -- idk just an awesome name for something
- Intern - temporary 'tower'/'guardian'/'walker' placed on the map to give some semblance of map control - would be a crazy comeback mechanic
- Mirror -- create a mirror image of yourself that does what you do on the exact opposite side of the map
- would prob have to be a character ability and not an item lmao
- i'm going to type up a new hero idea after this with that ability in mind since the mirror of the maps is not identical -- the way the map is mirrored creates inherent imbalance and playing off that with a mirror character would be awesome
- item called: aura
- no idea what it does, but it has 5 different potential effects, and which effect actually happens when you press the button is random (20% chance for each) -- hilarious item and hail Mary in pro play
- Checkpoint Save
- save one of your team's guardians/walkers/base guardians with a small sliver of HP to keep it from being destroyed completely
- way to stall objective captures

- AWESOME IDEA SIMILAR TO EGG - Smaug's Upkeep:
- establish a nest within your team's territory; the longer it remains, the more souls it provides. an enemy player, if they get to it, can steal it; your job is to pick a spot where they won't or can't expect it
- I THINK THIS WOULD BE INSANE
- ALSO I THINK it would be awesome to make some items only available to a team that is down a certain amount to make comebacks more likely in pro play !!!!!

- Hidden inventory!!!!!!****** - make a teammate's items invisible to the enemy team!!!!
- CRAZY IDEA -- fake melee animation for a teammate
- you activate, and teammate's character visually appears to heavy melee, but that is an illusion
- this would be disgusting and hilarious

- Tesla Spikes - the spikes yall put on every surface that is too advantageous, give players the ability to temporarily put those spikes anywhere, cowards
- DECLAIREI - doesn't make sense = who cares? = person screaming loudest into their microphone gets the most buffs
- map swap - don't trade objectives, but swap maps
- beanbag - make ally immobile and other debuffs = they sit, unable to do anything, for a specific amount of time; when that time limit is up, they get a brief period of buffs/increased power/insane strength
