He wakes to the feeling of falling. Wind tears past his scales. Clouds break around him as he plummets through the night sky. Sensing only the weight of his body and the dreaded feeling of something he failed to stop.
The memory returns as fire. The realm of dragons, high beyond human sight, where mountains floated like islands and the sky stretched into starlit void. A civil war erupted. Dragons turned in storms of flame and fury. He fought to end it, soaring through the capital’s fractured sky to reach the dark dragon at its center. Thousands swarmed him, calling him traitor. Their roars shook the void as they drove him back, still he pushed forward, wings torn and burning.
He found the dark dragon at the heart of the storm. Words meant nothing. Their battle cracked the horizon, rupturing sky and stone. With a single strike, the dark dragon hurled him through the breach between worlds.
Something calls him toward it. Something familiar. Something dangerous.
He snaps awake mid-plummet. His wings flare open, catching the air before he slips too far. He steadies himself above the clouds and looks down. The vast sprawl of New York. He does not know why he was sent here. Only that the war he failed to stop may have followed him.

everyone should know Capcom's Rathalos. If you dont know him and as a reminder, he is pretty much always flying.
Similar to Mina, Slyrak should glide by holding RMB, but more enhanced. Lasting longer and more powerful movement with WASD during the glide. Double jumping from the ground should launch, costing 2 stamina. But can Jump in the air to push himself back up
It should feel nothing like Ivy's Air Drop or Owl, too out of control in my opinion.. and Ivy honestly should have this ability to hover/glide using RMB like Mina, even if she's stone.
With just Mina's glide and tweaked, it should feel comfortable playing Slyrak in the air that wont be Superman speed.
Sliding would look weird... but im sure is SOMETHING that could work....

1)Fireball

Thoughts and Finishes
The hero only feels a bit "over the top" because of gliding and having a dragon model..
Slyrak could be a different version of himself from the Dota and Dragon Blood universe. Both have Davian, but this would instead be focusing on just a actual dragon. They are tank hero, still serving a strong role intiating fights and taking damage during them. Slow will define this hero on the ground, but in the air, is their their natural space. Air time would be longer, gravity would be lighter.. but i have no mathematical programming on how that should work! I am honestly a big fan of WoW's Dracthyr since it's release.
.. I really liked Rathalos being a model in Dota 2 and wish he was just a playable hero himself. A full dragon (sorry Winter Wyvren.. youre just not built the same, 1437!). Rathalos was also a character I was hoping be playable in Smash Bros.. It was very fun hero to think about and I could not think about anything but Rathalos!!
Nothing is impossible! I hope!

Thank you for reading, I hope this has motivated you and inspired you. I can finally stop thinking about Rathalos (maybe!!) and try to get Rank 50 in Dota 2 Monster Hunter Event... i'm only 6! I still have more ideas and new ones keep popping up as I read others and while creating my own!
