The slide isn't the only thing Viper has, and I don't see any problem with other heroes being able to slide like him either. And we only have about 2 items that increase slide distance, which are burst fire and fleetfoot.we already have items that add slide distance, i don't think we need more, also the sliding part in vyper is what makes vyper unique
They are gated on conditionals. People will not be incentivise to itemise other items, which includes not opting into it. It is in total 50% extra. That is more than half of Glass Cannon's value, at 1/4 of the cost, without the max health penalty. If we take that away from Vyper, then Vyper won't be unique. Also Vyper is less likely to buy that item, because it is directly double stacking upon something Vyper has. Opening rounds is only 40% against enemies above 50% hp. This item effectively gives 40% weapon damage just for sliding. This also isn't bringing up the 10% as base stat, nor the ~9% from investment, bringing this items to a grand total of 59% from a single item. This is all from a 1600 soul item that straight up gives you another character's passive.
