I have seen them multiple times like that and I'm not sure if it's spawning bug or there's additional timer between them spawning and then getting filled with souls.
Its probably caused by fps booster which is generating frames by default, try reproducing it on stretched setting, without FSR. Had the same few times but really dont care. its minor visual bug.
