Silver Bootkick is now forced into a straight line after dashing (Since March 22nd)

Hello, My muscle memory has been telling me this is incorrect since the March 22nd patch but I couldn't find any comparison in my clips from previous days to confirm if it really broke.
But I found one! aha! Im not Crazy!

• For one, previously, when Silver in human form used Bootkick{2} she would have slight control to curve its direction, but now it is forced quite heavily into a straight line.

More Importantly!;

• Previously, when Silver in human form Dashed{Lshift} and pressed to Bootkick{2} at the end of her dash, she would have a large amount of control over the direction she flies.
Now, Silver is Forced to Bootkick in a straight line only in the direction of the dash.

There is a very slight deviation to direction if you face far to the side, but its practically just straight out in the direction you are dashing.

I attached two mp4 videos of the control over bootkick Pre-Patch (March 20th) and Post-Patch (March 23rd)
The bottom left is a KBM input overlay.

Regards, thank you so much for the ult kill buffer, but please fix this ASAP too sobbing
p.s if this is intentional I might genuinely cry for a few days straight
p.p.s if fixing this requires reverting the behaviour of grounded bootkick not being able to fly upwards, I vote so be it. I got used to jumping before using 2 anyways.

lmao i found a clip in my recycle bin from patch day where the bootkick is on more similar timing to the Pre-patch comparison clip.

I included my complaining cause it feels good to be validated

p.s i apologize for it starting so abruptly, this is literally the beginning of a 4minute clip I just caught this happening by coincidence clipping something else

Hi, I have also encountered this issue and it is quite annoying as well.

Some corrections however, as your detail about dashes impacting the ability to curve boot kick may be slightly wrong. Boot Kick has an initial window where your mouse GREATLY affects the curving, and then gets set to the usual 'value' afterwards. I don't believe dashes change this, or at least not to a significant degree.

However! That isn't really important, as this bug has been a considerable annoyance in my games. The way to bypass this bug is using Boot Kick in the air, which you probably should've been doing pre-patch as you were unable to vertically use Boot Kick previously if you were grounded. You may also get lift via boot kick and your movement is restored once you detach from the ground.

Edit: Forgot to clarify a part of the text.
