Silver abilities not procing spellslinger

Spellslinger is already a somewhat buggy item, but when it works it WORKS. It would be a very good item on silver, especially when she transforms, but as of now, none of her wolf-form abilities can proc it. No matter what you cast (even some items like arctic blast and shadow weave) it will not build stacks while you are transformed. Even in her "human" form her Slam Fire ability doesn't give a stack or refresh the duration. (Not that you'd notice considering it gives 300% fire rate, but it would still be nice if it stacked properly.)
 
I was gonna report this too. You would think Spellslinger would have great synergy with her transformed state, so it was quite the bummer to see that they don't interact at all.

Uhh, Mr Duncan, turns out the claw swipes (primary fire) from Silver in Wolf form is treated as if they are abilities.

I do not think this is intentional or fair!

UPDATE:
It gets even stranger - the abilities cast during Wolf form does not increase regardless if it hits an enemy or not-in combat, only claw swipes directly on a target.

So it both negatively impacts Silver and the enemy players in game balance/interaction sense.

On the current patch silvers primary fire in wolf form does not activate spellslinger, she's getting attack speed from her ult passive.....
Her abilities in wolf form still do not proc spell slinger but ult activation now does when before when i tested it, it didnt

Weird, it increases spell slinger from firing - I just tested it today. The functionality did not change. Do you have video of this?

Are you hitting an enemy with your base attack? since she gains attack speed from her Werewolf ultimate passive. It's not spellslinger that increases it.

And Spellslinger still doesn't work in her ultimate form.

Try it in the new patch. A Valve employee claims they fixed it, however, it only increases on the swipes, not on the Werewolf abilities.

Pay attention to left hand side of the HUD - where there is an % increase, with the icon of spellslinger. It goes up, with gun swipes (on top of the standard werewolf).

If you are still in disbelief, build up max stacks, THEN buy Spellslinger. It should still go up despite max Werewolf stacks.

Basically, only human abilities, and werewolf gun increases/maintain stacks. So, if anything, it is double broken.

Literally just tried it in practice before commenting and I have no idea what you're talking about.

The attack speed she gains in ult is from her werewolf form. The spellslinger icon is there beacause she triggers it once before transforming.

Update:
Nothing changed. Turns out, the reason why it goes up is because of the fire rate of the Werewolf form - which you are correct, but I found out something more interesting.

The reason why SpellSlinger icon appears, is that it carries over whatever stacks were before from SpellSlinger + (Werewolf Ult). Meaning, I had SpellSlinger stacks on top of Werewolf form, however the swipe themselves do NOT increase. It maintain stacks tho. Maintaing of stacks does not happen with just primary fire on human form.

It is because the transform itself gives a stack, whether done automatically or not.

So turns it I'm incorrect on it being double broken - Spellslinger simply does not work on Werewolf form.
