Should we expect optimization in the near future?

Can the developers clarify whether optimization should be expected in the near future?
After the patch, it's unpleasant to play with such fps drops, and I have a choice: go spend $500-700 on a new CPU and GPU, or wait for optimization.

Guys, if you've seen information from developers about this somewhere, please share it below.

(I'm sorry that this topic is not a bug report, but this question has been bothering me for 5 days now)

My dude this is a playtest of course the game is gonna get optimized through the development. holy shit.
Just use FSR 2/lower your resolution and lock your fps in the meantime.

my dude I'm already playing on lowest settings with lowered resolution and the game is dropping to 10 fps range randomly every 2-5 minutes right now. It's not a question of "oF cOuRsE tHeRe wIlL bE oPtImIzAtIoN" - everyone understands that. It's a question of is the game *playable* right now and for many people it simply is not.

I have another problem, it's just that fps drops from 120 to 70-80 at completely random moments. And it's not about massfights. It's just that at any moment I point the camera towards the midlane and my fps drops. This was not the case before the patch. The question is how soon will this be fixed.

I just tested running around in explore map mode and things are absolutely fine there, I can't see any drops below 110fps

I've noticed massive drops in fights last game I played, didn't matter if I was in the middle of the fight or half a map away. this happened both early in the game (once or twice before 10-15 min) and later on (happened every other minute from 35-40 min or so)

the fps did never recover, once the issue happened they just stayed unplayable (10-20fps range)

35753617 is the game in question (I was the dynamo)

I'm not going to torture myself with another game for a while

my hardware (it's getting a bit old now but until the last patch the game ran perfectly fine even in big fights)

dx11
2080
threadripper 2950x
64gb ram 3200
win10
samsung evo ssd

before the shop update the game ran very well, when the shop update dropped my fps in fights became noticeably worse, dropping to 50-60 when I was at 80 before.

since today the game is unplayable with the issue described above

when I mentioned the issue in game, I think 3 or 4 other people said that they were having issues although none as major as what I described but they were noticing major drops too

I'm answering OP, not whatever your definition is. There's been 3 server based performance patches today. The guy is asking if people should even expect performance patches or how soon they will be.

I also had issues with FPS issues, but it got fixed in the patch after the item rework. I understand that people using Vulkan instead of DX11 can still have issues currently, no matter what they do. It's think it's pretty clear that the devs are aware and trying to fix the issues regarding performance.

"just do xyz" is not helpful if the issue is so massive that literally nothing helps and you coming into the thread disregarding someone's real issue is really annoying to me

How did I disregard anyone. I literally just said to use a settings that might make it better in the meantime. Do you have any reading comprehension?
