Should Viscous be holding something?

I was testing Viscous on a Hero Sandbox, and eventually I found out that whenever he casts his second ability (The Cube), he rises his left hand up and the screen get obscured, just like if he holds a flashlight, but at his hand, he has nothing. Don't know if it's a bug or if it's supposed to be like that, but whatever, here is the report.

That's your targeting animation. The flashlight you're seeing is the view cone in which you can target/cast the cube on other players.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but it's particularly weird the way his hand is, it seems like he was supposed to be holding something that will generate the "flashlight light", you know? But anyway, just a detail.
