Shop lighting became extremely bright and caused everyone on server to lag

at ~3:00, the seven paused the game, whereupon our shops all began to glow extremely brightly which tanked everyone's fps - this lasted for the entire duration of the pause and a small amount of time afterwards. oddly, it is not visible in the replay.
