If Shiv is climbing a rope and uses his alt fire he will perpetually slide along the rope in whichever direction he has momentum (i.e. if he fires downwards he will gain momentum upwards and vice-versa). His maximum slide speed on the rope appears to be the same as the default climb speed. Using this Shiv can slide up the rope by shooting M2 downwards once and then continue M1 fire. This causes Shiv to be the only hero in the game who can both "climb" and shoot on a rope simultaneously.
