If you use Shadow Weave on Dynamo and then stomp out of it your stomp will not gain the extra range from the ambush spirit buff, nor will the damage be buffed if it hits someone close up as they will be hit too soon before the spirit is applied. Any stomps after that for the duration of the buff will get the range and damage applied properly.
It's also noticeable when using the ult out of it, the first tick is never buffed. It seems that it does not apply for some split second after leaving the stealth.
This can be worked around with any other action that pops the ambush buff first but it means you can never instantly get the extra buff and have to spend half a second or more before you gain it.
