Seemingly random inputs not being registered

For the first ~10 minutes, random inputs wouldn't be registered. This included shooting, buying, getting off zipline, moving, upgrading abilities, sliding, dashing, jumping, and the tab menu. These input issues would come and go, with different groups of inputs ceasing to respond each time. Disconnecting and reconnecting didn't fix the issues, but closing and re-opening the game did.

I've had this sort of issue before, but what I think is causing it is the game thinking you're editing a build even when you're not, like when this sort of bug is occuring, pressing tab or alt works only once, but pressing it twice seemingly doesnt do anything and locks out controls until I left click or right click, I was able to fix this by opening edit a build and save it fixes this problem.
