I encountered this across two heroes now, as I had updated my other out of date builds first. Saving a build from a match caused all of my outdated builds to completely vanish.
In one match, I was playing Wraith, using one of my builds that was out of date. I did modifications on the fly and saved the build I did after the match. When I went to the hero testing to compare and make modifications as the original build had several branches and options, the outdated build had vanished.
In another instance, I had four out of date Ivy builds around different focuses. I saved a build of an Ivy from a match and subsequently lost my Ivy builds that had not been updated.
In a third instance, I saved the build of a Calico that was on my team and lost my not yet updated build for Calico.
I don't have any other heroes with outdated builds I made to keep testing, but I was able to get it to happen more than once.
