Safe to leave match shows up in stats

Also just noticed, the player on Venator might have not been able to join because of the updates, as after each game/going back to lobby people get "outdated client" notice. But yeah, would be nice to revert this match result as it stains my perfect score on Celeste /s

Yet another match 59017503 shows in stats page when it shouldn't. Will those matches be removed from stats in the future patches or... 1771224549060.jpeg1771224558209.jpeg1771224570370.jpeg

The game will not be scored in regards to your skill rating, but there is no reason for it to not be in the match history since the game actually happened.

The popup says "it will not be scored" period, not just rating. Why would I won't a random lose/win in my stats when 1 or 2 people decided to waste their time by staying in the game and shoving waves? This does not happen when everyone leaves and there is no weirdo that wants to finish this pve match, so it kinda suggests that this showing up in stats is not an intended behavior.
I attached a screenshot of a match where everyone left and this doesn't show up in stats.

The reason the game is recorded is because it actually happened and the patron is killed. You are undoubtedly part of the game and hence it will be on your match history. Games where everyone leaves will terminate and never finish. In this case you are not getting it in your history since the game never finishes. The behaviour is intended and your stats being warped is merely an incidental consequence since they won't affect gameplay or matchmaking at all.

@dfnmtd the message itself even says that game will count as a loss. Not sure if it affects ranked, I don't care given that one currently is totally irrelevant / inaccurate.

When others quit I guess you do pay the price just save the time. Similar system e.g. is in Valorant = if people troll or afk you still get a loss even lose rank points to avoid exploits like people finishing just the games that they are winning.

Unfortunately based on gaming community (very low morals, eager to cheat) there is no clear way to solve both = protect legit players while penalizing ones quitting, trolling, botting, afking.
That's why soloq has been and probably will remains very painful experience which again kinda makes sense = game pushing people to form teams given it is 6v6 in case of a Deadlock but even in 3v3 like Apex Legends it kinda makes sense. Plus does improve quality of games tremendously.
Only problem is - most of the communities these days are paying casual introverts that think that team games should be played like hero-shooters :) and teamwork is for nubs, sweats who should be playing just pro games / lans :D

x-trem007 I'm only talking about green bar that states "This game will not be scored. It is now safe to leave." And it doesn't say that the "game will count as a loss". If anything it can result in one of the three outcomes. I do agree that soloQ is quite a painful experience as it is right now, especially since you can't avoid other parties.

Oh my bad, I actually just realized there is a green message as well.

In any case I hope it does not count at least no matter it showing up :) even though given game is beta / seeing what shit is present in Deadlock already...oh well might as well be counting :D

Either way this system is just bs and developer should come up with some solution like mid-game pause and automatic backup substitute.

Otherwise I already quit now because of matchmaking and hackers, but imagining playing a longer stretch of time and constantly getting some dumbass (plenty of them already around from what I saw in 300h) that disconnects or just actively throws the game / does not go afk and you paying the price -> him getting just to low priority games... idk does not sound like a working model.
Adding to that - when I play normal games matchmaking started to give me these 50/50 games = either I roll over enemy team or vice versa. Meanwhile when put down into low priority (because kids mass report me for "their reasons") actually 9 out of 10 times gave me really easy / mostly winnable game vs what it kinda says instead = putting me deep into cesspool of shit players and force to crawl out of it. Punishment should be harsher and people who actually play the game should have an option to get sub if idiots DC or vote to kick players that afk/throw to initiate sub (sure this still can be abused but it would take a lot of effort / people partying up to annoy others = still better sounding system than one now).

In any case I am not coming back until they fix matchmaking and fucking banning system that allows auto-perry / instant scope, snipe, kill players enjoy the game and me getting muted, banned (for too much reporting), put in low priority games (for calling them out or not actively participating in giving them a free win).

p.s. back in the Quake days you easily solved this via above mentioned solutions and normal part of the community that did keep hackers in check on their own, not sure why people can't do it now or at least try to...Voting system = copy Valorant's, problem solved, kicking players / getting subs mid-game = copy any game that are plenty out there with mentioned features = problem solved.
It almost feels like most major corporations are into hacking business as well these days for extra revenue stream.
