Rem's Lil Helpers don't pick souls and don't damage objectives

Rem's Lil Helpers don't pick souls and don't damage objectives.
Here is an image of souls laying on ground:

The description of the ability says they pick up souls and share it but it seems only souls floating into the air are being picked up.

Lil Helpers also prevent dealing damage to objectives by a trooper:


You can see "Too Far" when a trooper attacks a guardian.

Did more testing and it turned out troopers are doing damage to guardians. I don't know if 35% extra damage is applied to.

But souls on ground are still not picked up by helpers.
