Remote Playing into Deadlock may cause Displaced Cursor

I wanted to remote play into my desktop with my laptop to play deadlock. This may be more of a clientside error, but I figure I put it in here anyway, Idk, maybe it has something to do with the game?
Even though the resolution for the game is set to the same resolution as the desktop, when I hover over the "play" button, it doesn't highlight in green until I lower the cursor two buttons down. One way I fixed this is to launch Deadlock on the desktop, then connect on the laptop, and it works as it should now. My thought process is maybe initiating through stream instead of normally may have some unintended consequences?

Was having the same issue when using Remote Play in the steam Link app from my iPad. My work around was to use the launch option “-sw” which corrected the problem with the offset center of screen and cursor misalignment.
